Super Bowl XLIII

As the 2008 NFL season came to dramatic end on Sunday, the Steelers were the last team standing. So where do we rank this game in Super Bowl history? Can the Steelers now lay claim to the title of "America's Team" with their 6th Lombardi trophy? How great was that James Harrison INT return? Should Big Ben have won MVP? How awesome was The Boss at halftime? (That last question was rhetorical.) Is Kurt Warner now a shoe-in Hall of Famer? Join us Tuesday at 5 PM as we wrap up the season that was.

Wow.

I guess they have to be America's team. The general range of opinion in my experience bottoms out at grudging respect. The other America's Teams -- Dallas and New England, I guess -- fill plenty of people with loathing. It's hard to root against a team that consistently plays fundamentally sound, charismatic football with overlooked stars.

And Warner has to be a HOF player, right? He has 2 MVP trophies, and has the greatest cumulative stat line in Super Bowl history. He could easily have 3 rings if he played on teams with discipline or defense. Even if his great seasons have been relatively few, shouldn't he get a Sandy Koufax path to the Hall?
